I have V coins, but need some others that are used by you folks.

    thanks, Rich

Some names not mentioned so far:

Classical Numismatic Group (CNG) is mostly auctions (they also have a few fixed price items). They have high quality coins, a bit on the pricey side but always good quality and well-researched.

Stephen Album Rare Coins is good for Islamic (he literally wrote the standard book on Islamic coins) and Asian coins, numerous auctions throughout the year.

Frank S. Robinson typically does three bare-bones auctions of ancients per year, plus fixed-price lists of world coins. Pretty basic descriptions and photos, but some nice bargains available.

VAuctions.com hosts ancient auctions from several firms, most often Pars Coins (specialists in Persian and Islamic coins, they also have a fixed-price shop on VCoins). Mostly lower- to moderate-priced coins, some bargains available if you know the series.

Wait, what? You have 5-7 mill worth of Julian solidi?? Even if that's just gold coins in general, I can only wonder what your financial adviser thinks of your portfolio allocation.

Oh, I'm still working on it... just very slow because now I have a "day job" that eats up close to 100 hours a week. Progress is painfully slow :'-(

Ps. I'd love to come over and photograph those coins, wow! Hopefully you have machine gun turrets mounted at strategic locations around your property keeping sentinel. I've gotten to the sad point where I no longer feel comfortable with having them in the house. It sucks that I can't see them up close and personal but at least I have the photos.
