Sure, I'll go after panzerdawg's sweet gold example ... what could go wrong, eh?

Congrats on the great new OP-addition, Smeag (and good luck stockpiling cash for your next vacation holiday)

Ummm, I have an example of this dude, but it has been overstruck by Heraclius

Heraclius => Overstruck on Anastasius follis

    ... pretty cool

Yeah, that AV Solidus from Anastasius was one of my "first" ancients. Got it for $300! It was that coin, which started my interest in ancients. Before then, I just was into the so called modern era material. Thanks to NFA, I converted to the classical era of numismatics:) Heck, I even collected proof coins issued by the Franklin Mint!
Neat overstrike Steve/ I am surprised that so many of the Phocas coins survived to this day, most are mintstate.....considering what Heraclius did to this guy's head:inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain::inpain:!
