Howdy folks, Found this website yesterday and spent quite a while looking at flicks. For example, I must have looked at 100 differently graded morgans all with good pictures. It was a great education on grading differences in the MS categories. For this purpose, I would HIGHLY recommend the site for spending some time browsing. That said, has anyone done business with them? Are the a good place to shop? thanks much and have a great weekend, peace, rono
CCE is an electronic network created so that coin dealers could offer their wares to each other all across the country in one location. The beauty of it is that idividuals can also utilize this network and join in the buying and selling of coins right with the dealers and at the same prices. To answer your question, yes I have used them many times and never had a problem of any kind. By the way, if you made use of the Numismatic Resources section here on Coin Talk you would have found that link to CCE, along with many others, much sooner
Sounds great, but they're really expensive. $295 / month to execute trades ? Sounds like ya gotta be a major playah to go this route.
The CCE is a major venue where the marketmakers establish wholesale prices through their bids and asks. A good number of the Greysheet prices are established from CCE postings.
