    Alexander III of Macedon, AE15. Salamis Mint, Cyprus, struck c. 323 - 315 BC, Facing gorgon with lolling tongue at center of ornamented Macedonian shield with alternate 5 pellets and double crescents. / B-A to left and right of Macedonian helmet, caduceus below left. Price 3158

    Nice pick-up- I like that coin design with the helmet and shield. Here's a similar one from my collection.

    In the type of Alexander III of Macedon. Struck ca. 323-317 B.C.
    Macedonian shield with facing gorgoneion in the center, forming central boss. Ornamented with five double crescents with sets of five pellets between, and outside ring of single pellets. / B-A, crested Macedonian helmet with cheek guards; kerykeion to lower left, ΣI monogram to lower right.
