The winner of the contest for $60 + postage paid is:

2nd place winners! I had a hard time deciding 2nd place prizes which are $30 + postage. Thus I decided to award 2nd place prizes to everyone else who entered the contest.

    These are, alphabetically arranged:
    2) a person who emailed me but I don't yet have his CoinTalk id
    3) nerosmyfavorite68
    4) Panzerman

I'm contacting V-Coins and working on arranging how you can order items & I'll pay for them.

I'd like to thank Gallienus for the generous participation prize. It was a fun challenge to choose the best piece I could for the amount. I chose this:

    upload_2024-2-20_18-13-34.jpeg
    Anonymous Follis A2 - S 1813, DOC A2.31 - 33mm, 12.60g

If the DOC listings are any indication of rarity, type 31 seems to be fairly scarce.

Thank you for the very nice prize!

You're welcome. I have not bothered to update everyone with the shipping status of their prizes. I should also mention to Panzerman that he needs to pick a $30 prize although the material he regularly buys is usually much nicer than that.

Thank you @Gallienus for an interesting contest. My prize coin was in the mail yesterday:
A silver Soldino of Andrea Contarini - Venice ca. 1356, Biaggi 2833
    .46gr
    14.6mm

The seller it was sent from was not someone I had a history with but I like the way the package there products. It included the laminated card shown in the next photo. Nice touch.

You kept this going. You do do a good job. I did go back and read it. It was for a chosen few. Wish I was one

Actually it was fun awarding the prizes. One runner-up person didn't claim theirs but otherwise all of the coins have been ordered. I didn't track deliveries tho as everyone who entered got one.

I haven't forgotten about the Roman contest but will wait for everything to be delivered here first.
