Won an auction earlier in the week for this beautiful, original packaging 1955 double mint set. Per the single picture, this one is a bit of a gamble -- no way of knowing what the other side of these coins looks like. Based on what I can see, not FS, FB, nor FBL; but I'm suuuure the ones we can't see are definitely FS, FB, and FBL (Unfortunately, I'm guessing this is not the case. If these coins had these affixes, I'm guessing Heritage would've taken the set apart and submitted the coins themselves.) I'm very impressed with the toning on these -- except the obverse of that Philly Lincoln cent. Unsure what that is...? I'm conflicted if I should keep this set as-is, or submit to PCGS - at least the best 1 of 2 of each coin in the set. Thought I'd share the very cool, old-school set. Per the Red Book, mint sets such as this were sold by the Treasury between 1947 and 1958.
