I was reading a post here on a 1998 partial collar dime by some off you members, made a few comments, so let me tell you what I think I have, I'm trying to get it? Maybe a uncenerted broad strike, with a cud and or clipped panchet, also the back side striking errorfadeing and rim damage, I'll stop now, mostly likely I got nothing bur POST damaged goods, What say you? Error or PMD. Hope pictures came out ok.
@Real Slick If you keep looking for damaged coins that is all you will find. There is reeding present, and the collar made the reeding, so how can it be struck without a collar?
well, once again wrong, I've been trying some take longer not to easy, so now I know , if there's a reed, it has a collar, I was looking at the the rim I guess. Any ways so this is not a keeper or anything? So I'll keep on pushing, I'm just looking and learning and just relaxing from all the "drama" I've been a counselor for 34yrs. I've worked with alot of drama. I learned to just enjoy life whileing you can. "Don't worry be happy" Thanks for your input.
As Paddyman alluded to learning errors takes quite a bit of time studying the minting process. Read, read, and then read it again. Reminder that most errors worth a premium are Mint State coins. That is another subject to read and study. It will no doubt help you weed out the coins that are damaged with just a look, and zero time wondering what may have happened.
