If you designed a coin, what would be on it?

A previous post of mine about pre-1933 gold coin denomination resurrections mentioned a design similar to the 1870 standard 1 dollar pattern coin. However, I'd like to hear some of your ideas for designs!

For people who did not see the other post, here is a rundown on the coins design:
Obverse: Sitting Liberty with shield in front of where she is sitting. The shield has a banner possessing a Liberty inscription. Liberty is petting an eagle with her right hand is holding the shield with her left. She is wearing near full clothing with bare feet, and her hair is slightly flowing. No detailed rims are present, and the coin sports a lettered edge. The eagle seems to like being pet on; this is meant to show a sign of unity between two of our greatest freedom symbols.

The reverse would feature the Liberty Bell in the middle of a Peace dollar-like top inscription, saying "United States of America" and "In God We Trust", but then saying the denomination below the Liberty Bell. Mintmarks would be placed between the Bell and the denomination, with the saying "E Pluribus Unum" and the denomination as the edge lettering. This means you could see it either way.

These would come in quarter eagles, half eagles, eagles, and double eagles. I wouldn't say it's safe for unions and half unions, as those would likely come in bills.

What would be your designs for coins? I'd really like to know. After all, we all have some creativity! ;)

Me it would be a walking liberty design along the lines of the walking half and st Gaudens $20 with a sunrise over the ocean and a distant sailing ship symbolizing commerce and trade. With the legend united states of America across the top along the rim and the date at the bottom. The reverse would have an eagle flying in a field of stars. Think Gobrecht dollar with in God we trust at the top . And the denomination at the bottom

My niece designed it. The final version has IN GOD WE TRUST on the left side.

No coins, thus no coin designs necessary.

You can be on it. That way I can spend you or keep you, my choice:)

To be honest, that rabbit looks like it has an IQ of 200. That's saying a lot, though, especially in coins! ;)

Many years ago J D White and I designed a coin, I did the obv, JD did the rev. It was minted in both copper, (as seen below), and silver.

I'd settle for an eagle to return to the reverse of our coinage. Started in 1792, ended in 1998. Unless you count the Half, which is being struck once again for circulation, but who's seen one of those in change lately?
