I recently came across a Norfed Dollar dated 2003 in a $10 denomination. 1 oz .999 fine silver Does anyone know what it's worth?
I've considered buying some of these for their historical value, and they go for anywhere from $25 to $50 on eBay, depending on condition (many end up cleaned or worn), proof or not, and if they're slabbed or not (ANACS will slab them as tokens). I would say for an UNC, somewhere around $30-35 retail would be right. This only applies to the 2003. Others sell for more or less.
I have a few of these, they are mostly worth around $25-$50 each. Some are worth a lot more because they are rare, you can find a good deal of information at this site... https://sites.google.com/site/libertydollarencyclopedia/-10-base-silver-ounces
This is a Norfed I picked up this year. These were $25ea. How collectible it becomes will be decided very soon.
I have several Norfed Liberty "Dollars" from $10 /$25, with ( double date on some ) I'm not sure if they'll be worth big bucks or not. I have some before the crack down. So no mature what, I've got some ! If just for the history. There great. Also "SILVER" 1 oz. rounds. Enjoy 'em if ya have 'em. Thanks y'all.
