This one just looks funny to me are there any error experts that can confirm or deny this as an authentic example of a broadstruck? I would like to have a broadstruck example in my collection, but want to make sure before I drop a small fortune on it! I'm sure its probaly fine, the seller seems to be Ok... I just got this funny gut feeling, so I figured I 'd give you all a chance to rest my nerves!!

    That's not a real coin.
It's an oversized copy of a coin.

I'm glad somebody else had the same thought I did, I didn't want to say that and interfear with what opinion that may come forth, glad that my gut still has its edge... Thanks Jody!

Says it exactly. The design is bigger than that on the real coin.;.

No chance that it is real.
You could not have the rim on a true broadstrike, it is a perfect coin, but over sized.
    Not gonna happen.

What about the 2 peices of leather and a hammer routine? Is it possible that this coin is the victim of a hammer job? :p

    It's the only thing I could think of......:kewl: .

Naw... I think it was an Asian copy made to be used as a token or medallian or something...
