I don't see it. How about the Obverse Side? Year? A high Pressure strike would sometimes create a Finned Rim. Raised thin and sharp edge.
ok. What you say Struck to hard would be considered a High Pressure Strike. Looks like a normal strike to me. Maybe yours is slight Post Strike Damage. Or just a weird plating issue on the edge.
With the early Zincolns you'll see that a lot. It's a break in the copper plating around the various design features. It doesn't add any value.
This is a common problem for some mint set coins. It is appears to be a combination of fresh, sharp, dies and extremely hard strikes. The most common victims are the finest '89-D cents. The copper is pulled right off the tops of the reverse lettering especially at the top left side.
