Not sure why the color in the image is so off but it's the color of a normal cent. 20160913_144451.jpg

Yea, it's an off center strike. Not much of a premium since it's only about 5% off center, but still a legitimate error coin :)

Would you say it's worth more than a dollar?

No - it's a slightly misaligned obverse die strike (MAD) - as long as the reverse is normal which I'm assuming it is as you did not show a pic of it!!

Nay.. I agree with Misaligned Die Strike on the Obverse. You can see a False Double Rim at the 9:00 area of the Cent. A picture of the Reverse would be the best evidence if it shows the Cent to be struck normally.
It's a fairly common occurrence and yes it's a very minor Error Coin.

I forgot to mention that the reverse looks normal. That's why I didn't post a picture of it

Now this is an offset strike as both sides of the coin have the same offset. Misaligned dies only have one side slightly off and one side normal strike!!

I have to agree with the other fellas on this one, and personally find even a few dollar value to be extremely high. Not that someone couldn't be roped into paying it, but as a general value? No...

Nope..The Cent shown on Ebay is actually a Broadstruck
Not Off Center nor Misaligned Strike
