My capital Bank how to coin counting machine of Their Own but took it out because they have said it was unfeasible so they went back to dumping the change on the table and count to get out by hand Sent from my C6740N using Tapatalk
And then there was Toronto Dominion Bank ie TD Bank, which took out their coin machines after numerous complaints of ripping off customers...
I haven't gone back since. I still have my account but I've just taken my business elsewhere. If I ever go back and have the opportunity, I might ask the manager, not sure.
My bank says they "turn the coins back in." I have been there twice when a bag filled up and they had to take it out and replace the bag. Small machine but has bags on both sides inside the machine and holds a lot of coins. Interesting that on both occasions machine seems to reject clad half dollars to the external slot. Anyone else experienced this?
Depending on the type of machine, yes. Certain machines can handle half dollars, but in my limited experience, most do not.
Machine handles half dollars just fine. It is the 40% clad that it kicks out. That is a good thing for person dumping coins but not too good for the roll searchers. Thanks for your reply.
