I received a 2009 dollar bill that is obviously misaligned. How do I find out if it's worth anything?
In order to be worth a premium, it'd have to be so far misaligned that there was part of another bill's printing showing. Your bill only has lopsided margins; that's not bad enough to be considered a miscut error.
@Numbers has it right. Funny thing about paper money.....it has to be really bad to have value as an error. Slightly to moderately bad is poor margins, and detracts from value, but just a little worse, and it's worth more than face. Example of a miss cut note with a sliver of the next note showing.
