Had a Kennedy half that was in about the same condition. Replies I received from error forum was that it was a casino slot machine (used over and over again) coin. Maybe yours is or is'nt. I also have a lot of Netherland gulden coins in same shape. I checked and they do have caisinos there. I do have the same coin with the extra island. Keep on truckin..........
Please I know I would like to see that extra island can't speak for the other members but I know I would.
Thank you I really appreciated that. I think I'm going to have to go with the others on the small chip. What little research I've done on the Extra Island. This one does not look like any of the ones that I've seen. The ones I've seen were in the chain of islands. Did you check it out to find out if it was and extra island.? Possibly a new variety. The only coin I've had good luck in picking markers out for different varieties would be in the homestead. But it's work in progress and John's been a big help with my identification.

See something new every day. Thank you for the link. Even more reason to send it in to be verified. Then you would be able to verify your thread as an extra island. Showed one of my rim cuds for the first time. Members came back with everything but what it actually was. Then BJ Neff Join the conversation and requested I send it in to him for submission on his site. And not surprising when I posted my next rim cud there was very little negative response to that rim cud.
