I was able to get 96 dollars of nickels on Friday and those are my only nickels I have got in well over a month. It yielded a 1986s proof ender. Two buffalos one dated 1927 and the other one I can't really tell. But the best score of all is a 1910 v nickel! The last time I found one was two months ago dated 1903.

I'm in Omaha, NE on business. Have some time to kill. I flew here though but I want to hunt. Don't know if I have a place to dump.

$18.00 loose halves from the bank teller. Nothing. Someday my luck will turn!

If you are adventurous you could dump them in a coinstar and get a gift card receipt. That said, I have never done it and won't likely.

Three boxes of cents took the better part of the weekend to go through because I picked through them off and on, only about 20 common wheats and 3 GVI cents.

Bought two boxes of nickels today, will go through later. Skipping the cents.

2 BWR from Random bank. That's all they had so I didn't want anymore. Nothing in them. Funny thing, my bank had a branch in the airport where I dumped them. I saw the teller checking the edges for silver before she put them in the coin machine.

A prayer to the Silver Halves God:

Oh what have I done to displease you? I have obeyed the laws and traveled over hill and dale to find You but still you allude me. Have not thee pity on a tired soul? Does not thee award those that seek? This drought upon the once fertile land has caused doubt in thee. I even bring chocolates to your gate keepers. Dispite my trials and tribulations I will stay the course to seek You.

    Your humble Seeker,

Congrats on the 54! I've only found 1, and I'm on east coast. I feel like all 54 are hard to come by I've only found 1 P, 1 d, and no s. The p and D were in the same box too

image.jpeg image.jpeg Well, I've heard those stories of coin roll hunters finding Grandpaw's collection in circulation, but never experienced it until now. So here goes:

Two boxes halves: first box- just about 20-25 NIFCs, no silver

Second box: Walkers-29; Bens-30, including a gold plated Ben; 90% Kennedys- 68; 40% Kennedys-32; proofs-33, including 3-68S and 1-70S (my first 1970 Kennedy!); and a 1987D Kennedy. Wow! And all the silver in a single box! Keep searching, they're out there! image.jpeg View attachment 536414 View attachment 536415 View attachment 536416

Don't know how I am going to share my humble finds in nickels after that amazing half post above.

    Box 2 of nickels:
    1 1925 Buffer in VF
    1 1939
    2 common 40s S mints
    12 40s
    1 1943-P silver baby.

Basically the same in composition as the first box, kind of cool when you think about it - they obviously came from the same batch in the coin handling facility.
