    Coins showing Cybele, the mother goddess are easy to find. She was quite popular in the Severan period. Julia Domna even has Imperials of her as Mater Deum. She generally has a lion or two with her. Someone here has her being pulled in a chariot by two lions.

    Great coin Pishpash, excellent detail and very interesting, I don't think I have ever seen a quadriga of lions before.

    Notice how the article cited by the OP specifically states that the statue of Cybele depicted her as having a "pregnant belly." I have long suspected that the pregnant appearance of Cybele on this bronze provincial of Septimius Severus from Anchialus was intentional on the part of the artist:
