Henri III King of France/ Poland/ Duke of Livonia 1574-89

    He was crowned King of France after Charles IX died in 1574/ either from poisoning/ or tuberculosis?
    So Henry was recalled from Poland to be crowned King of France.

    There is just something about the old French coins that is so fundamentally attractive to look at, whether it's the crest, the fleur de lis,...

    I have a few old one's, mostly late 1700's, for historical reasons (nothing gold) & they are all fabulous to hold. :)
