Is this a normal surface for a 1965 quarter? I am not sure I have not noticed this texture on any other coins. If this is an error....what is the terminology for it? 20160908_175103.jpg 20160908_175019.jpg Screenshot_2016-09-08-18-45-37.jpg Screenshot_2016-09-08-18-44-47.jpg Screenshot_2016-09-08-18-43-13.jpg

I can't tell exactly what the arrows are supposed to be pointed to. Gets fuzzy when I expand the pics. Texture wise I'm thinking parking lot maybe dryer or roof. See cents like that, may be the 1st quarter I can recall looking like that. But it's 1st year clad.

The arrows are pointing to the "radials" on a very worn die made by grooves cut into the die due to "metal flow" or whatever the "experts" wish to call it.

Sorry - I thought my pictures sucked!
What I can tell is you just have a quarter minted from a horribly worn die!~!
