1982 Panama coin Dies and Hubs - US Mint

    Here are a few to look at, first the obverse and reverse hubs of the One Centimo and then dies for the 1/4 and 1/2 Balboas, all dated 1982:

    Are the first 2 pictures reversed? They should look like the other dies o_O

    The first two look to be hubs that are used to create the dies and so have a positive image in relief, not recessed like dies, similar to the coins that are struck. What I like is it appears that there are the hubs and dies for the one centimo coins...

    LOL, well a personal museum of sorts. I only wish the seller had "dumped" them all at once because they went cheaply and then subsequent sales went for multiples. Still, I wanted the complete set of hubs and dies for the 1 centimo and then complete sets of dies for the 1/4 and 1/2 balboas....
