Got it in my cart. Was selecting card and got booted. Haven't been back since

 

the 1 per customer has probably increased the traffic by 10x. I have never had it this bad. My browser is just giving up...

 

I finally got through and I got an email that they had received my order. They say a confirmation email should come through in 24 hours....

 

I got through on their website and only got kicked out twice before compleating the purchase of a SLQ.

 

I kept getting kicked out every time I clicked place order. I tried 5 times and eventually got through.

 

Sadly I can't afford this coin right now...Hope there are some left!

 

Also got kicked off every time I would try using my "on-file" credit card. When I tried another card, the order went through. Order Acknowledgment email received.

 

I just got my order through. Darn website kept erroring out on me. I hope my order is accepted!!!

 

Was able to get 2 orders in first at 12:09 and other about 12:16 and difference of 5000 between them... Doubt they will sell out today, probably not tomorrow, but I think they will sell out.

 

It took about 4 attempts to get to the page, but bought it within the first minute with a quick checkout.

 

12:19 est got my order through. Took about 7 tries to check out but got my confirmation #.

 

At 10:24 MST, tried ordering a different item from the mint...shopping cart is really messed up and not processing correctly. Traffic must be near record levels to freeze things up like this for more than a few minutes.

 

Their site seems pretty stable now. The coin is still available.

 

I got in and out no problem, snagged 2.

 

After about 5 attempts, I snagged one.

 

I hope this doesn't turn out to be a turd like the Gold Kennedy.
I think I got 2 but it was a freaking nightmare of frustration.

Shopping Cart, shipping address, billing address, ARG!

 

From the Baseballs, Kennedys, Reverse proof C&C sets and many more.....this was far and away the worst checkout process I've ever experienced. The only thing that came close in near futility was the Ike C&C set. Still managed to get my orders in. Fingers crossed the system doesn't spit them back out, lol. Also, lets hope this doesn't turn out like the Ike sets

I actually like the gold Kennedy despite its secondary market performance.

I think this quarter will sell out at some point. The 1 per customer thing probably really shows down the uptake.

 

Now that we've seen the enormous crush at 12 noon, and that the coin still hasn't sold out an hour and a half later, I predict wailing and gnashing of teeth, market prices falling below issue price as speculators try to back out, and mass returns to the Mint. Kurt's cackling is starting to get on my nerves, and I'm 300 miles away.
