I hoped to post my newest acquisition this morning, but my high bid got sniped during the live auction last night at Heritage. This is what I was going for: Missed it by THAT much.
Picked this girl up last weekend. Not a high dollar coin but the price was right (free, minus labor).
My final purchases until I regain employment, SSDI is awarded, unemployment is awarded, the Air National Guard medically retires me, I get approved for VA Vocational Rehab, or I win the lottery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm very happy with the two I just got. The 1854 is cleaned but the price was right I love it. The 1972 DDO is more of an investment but I really really like it, 66RB cac
I thought I really found something on the left side of the picture but it's just machine doubling. I bought the one on the right yesterday. The doubling one I found in a jar at grandpop's.
Well you know how some days the coin God's dump on ya? And then there's days like today... two neat items from my LCS . First after talking a bit and looking around the dealers case I spotted this 1972 Lincoln cent .Some nice tones to it Greens, Purple , and a soft red. I asked to see it. After looking at it I decided to ask how much? I'm not into cents or pennies but the color as well as the MAD kind of turned me on to asking a price. Oh he said I know you like tonned coins, as well as varieties take it ...it's yours! Being very thankful I brought it home to find it's an DDO. Not a major one but still nice since it has a nice die crack , MAD, and the color it's a win win for me today ...But wait there's more.....
Right before the Guy at my LCS gave me the 1972 DDO he sold me this...1887 Morgan.... I'm thinking pretty sweet coin. I believe this to be a Vam 27 A
Just saw this, sorry. It's a Norfolk Comemmorative half dollar. Mintage of 10,000 and worth about $400 or so.
