I have the same issue, I just use a ipad mini for my camera use. Some coins come out great, other times it's barely close to what it looks like in hand. I just don't want to spent a few hundred for a camera when that can go towards coins :p

I try to use dealer pics when possible.

From what I can see on this tablet yes, it maybe , I'm on the road away from any of my references so I can't check to see if any are listed. What does the coin in hand look like under a loop.

If I've ever seen a 58 plus, it slips my mind.

This arrived today. 1878-s MS65, which upgrades me from an MS62 (the first slabbed Morgan I ever bought)

Thanks. The first coin I ever bought was a 2 center when I was 8 years old. Still have it. I had never bought another one until now.

I picked up this 1922 Peace Dollar the other day, it has an interesting line across her neck at the edge right above the date. I'm not very good at describing those kind of details, maybe someone here can let me know what feature I have there... is this a die crack or something like that?

Talk about great American success story! I'm still trying, but making ~$15/hour restoring musical instruments doesn't really do the trick.
