Just arrived here abouts and I must say I'm pleased as punch. Anyone care to guess the grades? Old 'fatty' holders numbered consecutively.

OHHH!!! Nice! My favorite commemorative by far! I probably would get the grades wrong, but I will say MS 63, 62, and 63.

Just a few questions Daniel.....do you see any breaks in luster? Do you see any notable 'hits' in the fields or devices? You may perhaps want to rethink your assessment, most notable friend. :)

If it were an '58, I'd probably not have bothered/noticed. Swiatek (notable volume) indicates most circulated examples ('39) have been polished. These, (mine) no doubt, have not been........Why would you jump between '58 and '67? Curious. Personal nature lends me to the later, though I'm a bit biased with the coins in hand. And a 'one up'......you folks will have to wait a bit for that acknowledgement. :)

That being said, by today's standards they all look like 66s

Paddy, according to Kevin Flynn in his book, The Authoritative Reference on Commemorative Coins: 1892-1954, there are no RPM's listed. There is a DDO and a DDR listed for 1933-D, a DDR for 1934-D, a DDR for 1936-S, and a DDO and a DDR for 1938.
