    No absolution necessary. If you like a coin and buy it, I am happy for you! :)

    I like the eagle better than Lady Liberty. I had always thought, though, that the neck seemed kinda short. Besides that, I would rank that eagle up with SL quarter and $20 St Gaudens as the most beautiful eagles.

    And I still say this was the obverse that shoulda been on it. Talk about a killer combination of obverse and reverse if they used this with the eagle they used!

    Is that a coin, or medal? I did not know they were made. It looks like a medal because there is no denomination in view. Please educate me.

    It is a one oz silver medal from the US mint using the design from the $100 ultra high relief gold COIN that they issued last year. The authorization for the coin required them to issue the same design as a silver medal.

    I would like to see that obverse on a medal/coin. Maybe Providence or another mint could produce one. I would definitely buy at least one.
