Did I miss a thread regarding the latest release from Provident Medals in the Privateer Series?

If so, my apologies but I finally got a Round TUIT to post a picture of my latest acquisition. Anybody else?

So, is this classified as a shipwreck coin? ;)

Provident has some real talent designing their medals.

Someone posted a picture of it, and I have bid on a few. Haven't won one yet. I love the others I have though!

I bought this Provident Metals silver round at a coin show in January 2016 because it has a slight resemblance to an Egyptian Magic Coin:

    Silver Round Egyptian Cleopatra

Obverse: Cleopatra seated, Eye of Horus, Egyptian hieroglyphics
Reverse: Pyramid, goddess Isis as woman with eagle wings spread, Egyptian hieroglyphics
    Silver, 40mm, 62.68gm, 5mm thick, lettering underneath: 2OZ / 999 / Ag
Manufactured by the Elemetal Mint for Provident Metals, Dallas, Texas

No. It's simply a 2 oz silver round which has been released as a series. This is number 5.

The pieces are incredibly thick and ultra high relief pieces where the Skull is on one side and another design is on the other side.

So far there has been the Ship, the Captain, the Kraken, the Mermaid and now the Plank.

I have bought both the Anibus and Cleopatra 2 oz coins along with the 2oz. Siren coin. They are simply beautiful and it being 2oz makes the coin stick out and the design and artistic talent involved obvious when you hold it in your hand. I highly recommend this series to anyone. I look forward to the next coin in the series to come out. ;)

I'll definitely be picking this one up, but my favorite is still the Kraken for sure.
