Do you see what I see? I have my doubts, but it was worth a $5 gamble.

That's what I was thinking. My dad thought otherwise, so I bought it to humor him.

I don't think so, but would be happy to hear I'm wrong when you get the coin.

I know a fellow who once pulled such an example out of a dealers junk box........

Do you have a better image of the date? I'm seeing stuff that makes me think it is.

These are seller pictures, so that is as clear as I can make them. There is something there, but I don't know what. It doesn't seem to match up with some aspects of the 1942/41 D, but it does match others to some degree. The blurriness of the picture may be distorting the diagnostics. I'm not sure. As I said it was worth a shot.

Maybe you should take pictures that are MORE blurry! We can easily tell then!!

It does look suspiciously similar to the picture. Definitely a shot worth taking!

Due to the pictures, I can't say yes, but I'm definitely not saying no.

This is an easy variety to ID with a good photo. IMO, the "4" is not doubled in the OP's out-of-focus photo.:sorry:

It was worth the gamble I believe. I enlarged the top photo and while it's not a great picture there is enough to have convinced me to take a flyer on it. Good luck and update us.
