IMO, the coin is a beat up MS-64 with beautiful color that I think is artificial.

    So PCGS grade is MS-66.

That hit on the neck is pretty severe. 64. The color seems OK.

The combination of the darkness of the reverse, softness of strike, and the hits on the neck limit the grade to MS64 for me despite the attractive obverse toning. As for the toning, the 58-Ds come from the double mint sets and are frequently found with amazing toning. I don't see anything that screams AT or QT so I'm gonna say they graded it.

I think the toning follows the correct progression. I'll guess that it is a MS64 that got buoyed to MS65 by the pretty toning. So MS65 for me!

Yeah I agree the vampire bite on the neck does raise an eye, but I be in this coin for ms 65 money. The strike is soft but the color is eye appealing . Heavy how do you find coins that been bitten by a 3 fang vamp?

I agree with this - but it slid to 65 because of the eye appeal. Without the color, it's a 64.

Environmental damage. That looks like the toning you get when silver is exposed to water for a long time.

That said, it looks like it got slabbed, so... MS64?
