I might go for more later guys when funds permit. But only better more expensive types or gold. The common stuff just doesn't do anything for me. Anyone got gold pics?

What's the typical fineness of ancient gold

 

The people who spent your Morgans (actually the ones not saved in MS69) liked ancients better than you do. Below is an advertising token you could get with a catalog for Stearns bicycles in that day (1898). The original it copies makes Morgans look like things to spend on a bicycle.

The original was donated to the museum a couple years after they made the tokens. It weights almost 43g but is only 34mm diameter. Being thick works. If you want big coins, try early modern multiple Talers.

 

It depends on where, when and how. Need to be waaaaaaayyyy more specific.
