Steve, there are some scarce Fijian decimal banknotes that are worth looking for.If you had bought a copy of the Pick catalogue, you will see what I mean. Aidan.
OK Aidan lets try this again, do these rare Fijian notes have Lizzi on them? if the answer is yes then they will be in the book I have just purchased, if the answer is no then in all propability I wont be looking for them. I dont realy know what your obsession with me buying these books are unless of course you have shares in the production of them LOL My next buy will be a cat of German notes :kewl:
Steve, when you get them, you will have to post up photos of the notes when you get them.I wonder if that Queen Elizabeth II banknote book will have cross-references to Pick numbers in it. Aidan.
Aidan if you click on the link in my sig it will take you to my notes, I try to get them up as they come in except for my German & Austrian Notgeld LOL those I do as and when I have a chance
Steve,if & when my boss finds the instruction manuel to the digital camera that I am going to buy off him,I will have to teach myself how to take some photos. I have every intention of posting some photos of my banknotes & postal orders,so that you will feel floored. Aidan.
Aidan I dont doubt for a second that you have a very impressive collection, from what you have mentioned in the past I know your Postal Order one is rather good, I will say I am quite looking forwards to seeing them
Steve, you will be floored when you see my Bophuthatswana Remainder Issue & Ciskei Remainder Issue postal orders. Some of them are denominated as low as 1c..Some of them I bought off the Postal Order Society for a Quid or 2. When you bought that Maltese 50p. postal order for me when you were over there, did you get one for your own collection? That's got Queen Elizabeth II's portrait on it. Aidan.
Nope I did not, I have no interest in Postal Orders, dont mind looking at them but that is the limit of my interest
Steve, you will be pleased to know that postal order collecting is taking off in a big way, especially in England. It is now become an acceptable sub-branch of notaphily,& it is banknote collectors, like myself, who are avidly collecting them. Aidan.
