The "expesive" ones are always the toughest to find.

    Not exactly.
The 1909-S VDB is the most expensive Lincoln in circulated grades.
It is not hard to find at all. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Coins-US/253/i.html?LH_BIN=1&_from=R40&Mint%20Location=San%20Francisco&_dcat=39455&Certification=PCGS|NGC&_nkw=1909 s vdb&_sop=12

There are 156 examples for sale, and probably more on dealer sites and Collectors Corner.

None of the main-series Washingtons are hard to find, unless you're building a set in high UNC grades.

Anyway, congratulations on making this much progress on your set. That album must be satisfying to hold. Also, the 32-D seems to be in high grade.

Being the first, and also a commemorative, the '32's were horded, the uncirculated 34's seem much harder to find.

The 32-d I s high XF to low AU IMO. You can see a pic here...http://mycoins.hankinsfamilyonline.com/?page_id=251

Its not the best pic..but should give you a better view of the condition. It may be what I have to live with for a while. Its just not the inspiring example that I want in my collection LOL.

I have been working on a very similar set. I have all the Philadelphia issues, everything from 1944 on, and missing 41 DS, 42S, 43S, and all the mintmarked going back before 1941 except the 1937D (my most recent addition). I also need a couple of the silver proofs from the 1992 - 1998 period, but I am slowly buying and breaking up silver proof sets to get those.

Beautiful set. Good luck filling in the holes and keeping the wallet intact
