I once had a Crecent City Coin Club medal that was in leather about 1/4 inch thick but I gave it away.
I think mine were issued by the Chicago Coin Club, longnine. Fortunately, I still have them. Now I'm going to have to go and dig them out of my coin club stuff. Bruce
The ANA always issues high quality and beautiful exonumia, brg. Yours is no exception. Very nice addition to your collection. Bruce
My latest Sample cent slab. Somewhat unusual, I only know of three examples so far. If counted as a single slab it put me at 45 PCGS cent sample slabs.
Picked up some Charleston, SC tercentennial medals. I'll be surprised if I ever find the other 2 from the card.
Unfortunately my photography skills are nill. The RI Tercentary I posted looks completely different in hand. Too much light reflecting off it? In reality this item is a beautiful dark bronze that blends to a lighter bronze color. I will mess around and see if I can get a better shot.
Thanks. I can't take credit for the pix- I've had to rely on others for those. But I'll be finally be getting a proper numismatic photography setup this month, and hope to greatly improve in that department after some time on the learning curve. Those first two are from my slabbed Box of 20. The others are from my raw engraved/oddball set. The 2c piece is the only one I personally photographed.
I found this little item for $1.00 in a coin dealer's foreign coin junk bin at the recent August 26 2016 Santa Clara Coin Show. Good Luck Token - Swami - Red and Green "toning" It looks like it may have been in the ground for a while.
