I'm trying to scan all of my Mexican coins, which is a very extensive collection, so I can share them. The silver ones might be sexier but I started at the beginning with the 1 centavos. My goal was to get one coin of every date, but I don't pursue varieties. However, with the Second Republic period (1869(?)-1905), there are about nine mints, and many of the coins have mintages well below 1 million, making trying to collect them all both frustrating and expensive. For this reason, while I do buy them when I see them, I just aim to collect a nice assortment of coins from this period and don't try to be all-inclusive. That being said, here are the ones I have from this era. Note that the design changes in 1900. In a day or two I'll post my centavos from the Estados Unidos period, which is really my focus area.
