Roll-searchers, post your results!

You've never said who the provider is(loomis, brinks,etc) if you have another bank you can use to order from try them for awhile. my draught lasted 18 boxes I know how discouraging it can be.

Boxes I have gotten this week were dated Jun 3 and June 8, I have seen some familiar coins, a few that I have seen that has a older closed business' sticker on the obverse. So I know I am entering searched coins.

I may switch to Brinks just to get to another coin source if the draught starts again.

I seem to be getting a mix of both Brinks and Loomis. I live in Colorado so The Fed that shoots these out may be taxed too much. I'll keep trying. I have a bank that used to order them for me every week. I told them to stop ordering them, hopefully I can get them to start up again. Otherwise I will be driving all around town to get my weekly boxes. That hurts the economics of coin roll hunting as far as paying for gas.

 

Today I got two dateless buff nickels as change. Not a common site anywhere but especially on a military base in Spain (stationed here). I guess coinage doesn't move back and forth between the states much.

Westminster! Don't worry, I am not JK. That guy tags everything. I have done a lot of boxes and have seen his tags in everyone! You can take the South side of the Denver Metro Area and I'll take the North.

 

Alright, I'm still on the comeback trail. I searched two boxes this week of halves and got one silver. I am going to get two boxes today. Let's do this!

Do you tag? Jk marks alot of halves here. Recently the tagged coins have not been showing up. Maybe the feds culling them? I'm not sure.

 

Do you find alot of silver in your area? I order in highlands ranch and did some in Arapahoe. I find very little silver. About 15 40% in 8 months of searching.

 

I have never tagged and never will. I have done coin roll hunting in Wyoming and Nebraska and have found his tags in those states too.

I did find 20oz of silver in 4 months. Lately I have been getting next to nothing. That's why I took a break for a couple of months. Hopefully our area will rebound.

 

Dang! How many halfs is that? That's a whole lot better then what I get in my loomis boxes.

Ok, I just got another box of halves during my lunch break. It will be my 3rd of the week. I'm tempted to get my fourth after work. Wish me luck, hopefully I can get on a hot streak!

All but 2. When I was in Wyoming I got my hands on two CWR. One had a 64 in it. Another bank I asked the teller for some loose halves and she gave me a couple and one was a 66 40%er.

 

Hmmm. I wonder why I get nothing...
