Photoseal is in the Slabbook. The others didn't come along until after the book was published. If I ever get the seconed edition done the other sticker companies will be listed. I think we are up to six of them now.

Probably not, numerous sticker companies have been attempted and CAC and Photoseal are the only two that have been fully accepted by the market.

I figure one modern coin stickerer will emerge.

There is one called QA but haven't seen it get a ton of traction. The market may not want a modern sticker but unlike CAC in my opinion they aren't doing themselves any favors by charging collectors a membership fee and charging collectors for anything submitted which discourages submissions.

I was tempted to make a slabbing service called GGG for "Good Guy Graders", where I would undergrade everything by at least one solid grade. There was even a "G" sticker for "Guaranteed Genuine"!
As you can tell, I love the letter G.

They sure are as busy as one-legged men in a behind kicking contest at all ANA shows, evaluating and stickering. I saw a coin in a PR70 (PCGS) at their Dallas table that had so many obvious issues that didn't even require magnification that my jaw just dropped on the table.

I figure a baseball umpire was filling in at PCGS that day.

Are they? I never get to any of the major shows so I've never seen the business they do at them. I've seen their stickers popping up more but not as much as I would expect for something that the market has fully embraced.

Not there yet, but how long did it take for CAC to hit critical mass? Right now there's a battle between two companies for modern sticker supremacy, if you believe that's not an oxymoron.

I actually don't remember how long it took CAC in all honesty. Couple years maybe a little less? It is interesting there are a couple areas where CAC and QA overlap

Mint state Ikes are the big one if I remember correctly and I think a couple Jefferson and Lincolns overlap as well. I can see the value in how they're trying to do for moderns what CAC did for classics, but with that said I think between the two CAC would still be preferred where they overlap

Mark Knopfler...one of the best guitar players of all time! I'd like to sticker the girl in the original video!

Can you imagine the flack those lyrics would receive today??
"That little fa**ot got his own jet airplane
    That little fag**t, he's a millionaire"

I have no problem with Rick Snow's sticker and actually like to see what he thinks is choice. Just like CAC I don't think they always deserve a premium and in some cases I disagree with him just like CAC. But all that aside, I do believe the sticker comes with other benefits especially if you buy from him - I seem to recall reading something about his buy back if you wanted to upgrade the coin. I thought it was better than what other dealers did and a plus for Rick and his business. Assuming it still comes with that benefit - I don't mind a try expert identifying what he likes. Like with any coin - I reserve the right to have the final judgement. :)

Been there, done that. I quoted those lyrics once in an IndyCar discussion board. You should have SEEN the PC thought police erupt all over the place. You would have thought I was mass murdering puppies. Ahh, 1985. It was a simpler time, when people knew what they liked and didn't, and people just dealt with it.

BTW, Money for Nothing is now on my iPhone.

I'll be sure to include it on my Wed night repertoire at the Happy Harbor...
The Brothers Osborne are from Deale (MD) and a lot of this video was recorded there.
