2016 American Liberty Silver Medal Coins

Are you talking about auctions that aren't anywhere close to finishing? As there is none on Ebay available for buy it now sale under 50 bucks. According to completed sales the last single W sold for $160 and the last single S sold for $195 quite a bit above $50.

If you can find any for that price, I will pay you about double....

 

Price right now is at $175 with a best offer, I wonder what PCGS/NGC 70 graded pieces will sell for, $500 or more ? With such a low mintage it will be interesting to see what the 70 coins will bring.

 

There are a few that sold for around $60 but I'm guessing those few were very early presales

Good question, a lot will depend on just how many do get 70s. If like 70 percent or more are getting 70s I would guess maybe 200-300 unless the medals themselves just absolutely take off. Now if only like 20-30 percent get 70s like has happened a few times in the past 500 may be the floor price for them

 

They are going for $160-195 each now? Last I looked BIN's were at about $120ea and I didn't notice a difference in S/W price. It was only a glance though. So the S is going for more and close to $200ea? I would've thought the W would be more popular

 

Edit I should have added that most likely the gold coins will limit just how high these prices could go barring some abysmally low number of 70s. If the price gets to close to the gold price a lot of people will just go for the gold instead

People seem to expect items like these more from W than S. The S RP Silver Eagle was the price winner as well over the W

 

Has anyone received a ship email yet ? I bought 4 coins in the first 3 mins. and only have received a conformation order from the mint and my CC has been charged.

 

Sucks for the people on the selling end there. I originally completely forgot about this release until I seen the thread for it on here yesterday, glad I was able to get in.

Cool. I was going for the S at first until I Was able to add the W's. I wasn't sure which would be more opular if their was a diparity so I defaulted to my home state mint

Thankfully I went on the mint site an hour before and realized I never updated my password. Boy would I have kicked myself if I went on 3mins before lol. I wonder if that kept some buyers from buying?

 

I haven't received a shipping notice but I selected overnight and from past experiences it usually gets shipped the next business day. Also noticed that the mint has a double authorization on my card which hasn't occurred since the RP C&C sets.

 

Thankfully someone also posted a warning here about the passwords needing to be reset so I was also able to get in and do that 15 minutes before noon or I probably would have missed out.

 

I went with both as well. If it was only going to let us do one S would have been my choice as I just think its a little more unique than the W

 

After those ebay links I'm curious who is going to be the first to pre-sell the graded ones and what price they will set
