So why not photograph some raw coins? I always find it easier to photograph objects on a cloudy/rainy day as I have better ability to control the lighting.
Hey Ken, is that 1857 FE coin varnished ? Looks to have a shine to it. Nice set of coins. Love the 1835 Half. BTW, It never rains in California, so I can't show you any pictures of my raw coins.
I've seen pictures of your wildfires. Wish I could send you some of the Louisiana floodwater to help douse them.
I probably should have taken it out of the 2x2........I bought it from Charmy 2 years ago at FUN.........has the notation 'Planchet Lamination' on the right side of the flip and her penmanship is far superior to mine.
Well than, I guess I won't be seeing you next week. My son is entertainment Manager at Harrah's & Harveys.
Cool. I'm probably not gonna make it up this year. Maybe winter to play in the snow but we'll see. The casino industry has been hurting for a while up there ever since the Indian casinos started popping up everywhere. I'm sure he knows that all too well though
Hey, It rained over where I am too, last night and when I woke up atound 8 30 this morning, and for a few hours after that!
I shut the blinds on my windows so that I can shoot in the dark. How many lights are you using, green? Those pictures look to be nicely in focus, but are really dark.
I saw a video of a lady trapped in floodwater in her car down there, trapped underwater, some brave soul jumped in and saved her and her dog, cool stuff... Not the floods of course, the rescue
The flying eagle cent is really dark, so that one I had to lighten up in the post processing. The '28 is actually a little darker in hand but the '35 is pretty on with the in hand look.
