I am super stoked to have this coin! Dispite the corrosion it did not take me long to pull the trigger on this Trajan / Trajans bridge. A great piece of history that I have wanted for some time. In hand it is better than in the photos. The photos also show the coin with too much red. The coin in hand is more muted brown / light brown to tan color. There are cool die cracks just above the boat and below the bridge. 27.5 mm 11.18 grams Trajan, Dupondius Rome mint O: IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P COS V PP, Radiate head right, drapery on shoulder Rx: SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI SC. Congrats! I love this type as well. Mine is rough and worn, but I don't mind at all. Your stealing my thunder rrdenarius I posted that exact same tune in and coin an earlier post, I think the was post your favorite tune and coin, but that's great because you gave me another chance to post it, I love it.
I don't blame you for being stoked to have a coin with so much important history attached to it is an unbelievable feeling, there is a sestertius of the bridge Roma's current auction that has a lot of the detail we haven't got on our coins, if you want to take a look it is a beautiful coin.
