germany 1914, 1915

    i have a 1914 deutschesreich 1/2 mark and a 1915 deutsches reich 1 mark. does anyone know anything about these. or know where i can look for information?

    hi and welcome to cointalk! what would you like to know about the coins? all i deal in is german and i have had a hard time finding much of anything that was a real solid source of info. maybe i can help ya. if not me, im sure someone else on here could! =)

    1914 /05D = 328,000
    1914 J = 2,292,000

    1 Mark
    weight 5.5500g
    Composition 0.9000silver .1606oz ASW

    1915 A = 13,817,000
    1915 D = 4,218,000
    1915 E = 2,235,000
    1915 F = 2,911,000
    1915 G = 1,749,000
    1915 J = 1,634,000

    Values would depend on the condition of the coins

    Actually i was wondering if anyone knows the grades and values or knows where to look.

    We can't tell you about the grades without seeing the coins, and because we don't know what the grades are we can't offer much help with values. Can you post pics of the coins ?

    1/2 Mark is KM# 17
    1 Mark is KM# 14

    if they are in poor condition they are worth about $3.00 for melt.
