Dateless Wheat Cent With A Possible Error

    Help with this cent is greatly appreciated! I know most will say PMD all the way! Looks like its been through alot, lol! Acid/Chemical. Being how low the weight is, with most of the detail being there. I would think this should look slick on both sides.

    Close up of the edge is leaning towards PMD, Darn! I did see a video on a similar coin, without all the erosion. 20240125_14_48_27.png

    Acid corrosion.
    Not a mint error of any kind.

    Split planchet has a different appearance. Not smugey.

    Definitely Acid damage.
    I have found these detecting that weigh down to 1.5 grams.
