    Not sure if this is from a worn die. Is it common with no value? 99 Virginia 2.JPG 99 Virginia.JPG

    I don't know. It just looks to soft and mushy to be damage or plain old wear. I don't think the mint would have let these dies get into this shape before replacing them.

    Is the reeded edge missing? Looks strange.
    I’m guessing dryer coin.

    Maybe, but it could even be a counterfeit. It's hard to believe that any one would go to the trouble. If it does not have the clad copper area on the edge, it is bad.

    I see copper on edge but no reeded edge. Just smooth all the way around edge.
