Is that an "S" or a "D" on that V Nickel?

    Looks like a D, but the picture is horrid - nice catch. Let us know if it's an S. :)

    I'm pretty sure whoever puts these together is trained to look out for key dates. Or, whoever provides the coins makes sure there's nothing good in there to begin with.

    The MM is close to the rim, so my guess would say D mint.

    Ah well, it's a D. Still a pretty decent coin for El Cheapo! No varieties in this set, but a pretty good price overall, still. Here are a few pics of them.
