I have a dime only stamped on the tail side. Looking at the head side u can barely make out the tails side coming through. Wondering if this is common or if it might be worth something
You might have something or you may have somebody playing with his new grinder. A picture is an absolute necessity and the weight is also important,
We need clear and focused pictures to be able to give you any opinions of your coin. Without those pictures, I'd say that it has been ground down or it's a separated clad layer. Whatever it may be, it didn't leave the mint in that condition.
I don't think it was ground down because the edges only look it was stamped on one side became cause they are currled up just enough to Tell if u have it heads up. Looking at head side you see the words from the tail side backwards.
Too many things going on to guide you in the best way with just your description. Pics or even a scan would help
Isn't it wonderful how the Millenials learn so much as how to spell from their high priced student loans?
