Are you asking for the slab grade or what we think it grades? Frankly NCG coins are notorious for being seriously overgraded.
Looks like a self slabber slab and over graded by them. Real grade maybe a 62 or 63. Any how welcome to CT. get your self a Red Book find a series you like, then get a book on that series and learn what to look for. Oh ignore the prices in the Red Book.
No, not NGC. I'm not positive, but the "Numismatic Coin Guarantee" sticker has me thinking it's the guy who is calling himself NCG, and probably selling to buyers who don't catch the difference.
...and this one ain't NGC. Newbie2015, NCG is what we refer to as a "basement slabber," a small-time operation whose intent is almost always nefarious and whose results are always untrustworthy. The grade stated on the slab from such an operation cannot be trusted. The coin you've pictured here looks to have circulated a bit, particularly obvious in your image whose filename ends in 193006. If we consider it to remain worthy of an AU grade, an optimistic retail value for it would be about $40.
au55 in my book, If you have an option of returning it, that is what I would suggest, Slab says 66 like the majority of NCG coins do
An endless piece of advice for newcomers: focus on NGC and PCGS slabbed coins. Other members who feel confident with ANACS slabs can advise on those. I had half the site helping me when I bought an ANACS slabbed coin.
You know, on threads where were talking about NCG it might be beneficial to write it like this in the future guys... NCG
Same guys, or someone similar, burned me on a 1923 Peace Dollar, I knew it wasn't an MS66 i figured it was at least 62 and paid what i thought a 62 was worth, but they cleaned the hell out of it. Got my money back.
