    The British after a long War/ finally defeated Tipu Sultan aka "Tiger of Mysore" in 1798. In that conflict he used rocket artillary vs the Brits!
    Thus when Mysore became a British vassal/ Krishna Raja Wodeyar IV was installed as "puppet".

    These are very common and easy to get in FDC

    That's a beautiful example!

    I don't have any gold coins from that kingdom/native state. Here's a double rupee issued by Tipu Sultan in AH 1216, one of five in the collection, acquired decades ago when these coins were available and relatively affordable.
