1789, BHM 304, possibly to celebrate George III's recovery from illness. This medal also found its way into Dalton and Hamer's Conder token Addenda as Middlesex 184 bis 1.

1788 is still a very quiet time for GB coins and I never got round to photographing most of the tokens, so all I have to offer is this - Utrecht 1788:

    A few random Soho pieces.

A DH11 Late Soho pattern halfpenny, Peck 964 struck in silver plated copper. ex-V Brand and E M H Norweb (lot 1603). Not one of her best - but it was cheap.

A DH4 Early Soho pattern halfpenny, Peck 945 struck in copper. This came out of Baldwin's basement and is rare. Ex-M A Brigg, H Deane and Revd. E Rogers collections.
    upload_2024-1-22_23-59-30.jpeg

And the rarest of the lot, a Taylor restrike Peck type R24 (but unknown to him) in aluminium. The types R19 - R29 where known are as far as I am aware, individually unique in this metal. There were 8 pieces in a Glendining sale in the 1960s which were corroded to varying degrees, suggesting all may have been in the same location when the damage occurred. The unimpaired areas of field are brilliant mirrors, so whatever caused the corrosion was localised. This came from a US seller on ebay 15 years ago.
