Are they worth more than face?

First of all I'm sorry I don't have any pics. Also I'm not knowledgeable of currency.
A lady at the bank knew I was into coins. She asked if I would be interested in looking at some older large bills she had. When she came back with them they weren't old. She has about $1000 dollars in $100 and $50 bills. Dates ranging from 1985-1993. She let me go through them and no unique serial numbers or star notes. They were in good condition.

Some people collect the "small" portrait notes, and you may get a premium. But I am guessing these were all well circulated, so not worth much above face.

Personally and respectfully, I do not recommend tying up money in circulated, high denomination notes with nothing going for them except for being somewhat old.

I’ll make it simple. If there are some fancy serial numbers then it may be worth buying them, otherwise, pass.

With paper collecters condition is everything, if there’s no fancy serial numbers you are basically looking at
    face.
