I assembled a set once and got bored with it and sold them. Now I wish I had them back so may have to start another.
Nice collection! I'm 6 coins away from completing a year set of Barber Halfs. Didn't think it was reasonable to finish a year+mint set. All in circam condition. I picked up 13 of the years at todays coin show, btw.
Looking good, Keep it up. Here is a Capital set I put together years ago. I is part of my Capital set holder collection. Put this together before grading companies existed.
I am in the middle of working on a set, some day it will be finished. I have them in an old Coin and Currency folder, except for a few third party graded ones. Don't have a way of taking photos of them, here's one that I have in a TPG holder.
I did something similar with Indian Cents when I was in high school. I eventually completed the set, but lost interest in it in the 1970s. I wish I had it today.
My IHC's are still in the folder I had as a child. It is covered with tape to keep it from falling apart.
I really like the ungraded sets. Just something about the Dansco albums and the capital holder sets that are appealing.
My Barber collection is still evolving. Includes this folder and a tube of halves that don’t have a home yet.
