I got this nice MS66+ graded by ICG to replace the spotty one in my album. Now I can't bring myself to crack it out because it's just so nice. Full resolution images
I like all those coins @Rushmore. Especially your matron head. I need to start getting into Large Cents when I have finished slowly acquiring Indian Heads. This is my latest:
I have an 1893 Barber quarter that is a bit more worn than yours...can just barely read the date...that I got in pocket change! I'll have to take a pic and post it.
This was a late pick-up at FUN. It's the Ryder 1-D die marriage of the Massachusetts half cent, a Rarity 4- coin. I'd been looking for the "right" coin for about a year and this one shouted to me from the CVM Early Cents table. They had five of them and this is the one I like the most. This is the PCGS TrueView since I've not yet photographed it. But the TV is pretty accurate for this coin. It's graded AU-58.
Not exactly "new" to me, but ones I haven't shown here yet at least. They're not exactly fantastic, but they are what I could afford at the time and I'm happy to have them!
Another FUN Show pickup. This is the 1862 Variety 4 Liberty Seated Half Dime in Proof 65. It replaces a raw AU-55 in the Type Set. The TrueView shows the coin more accurately than my own photos (cannot shoot proofs worth a hoot!) plus there are scuffs on the slab. Mintage of proofs 550 but Breen said that "...some 430 sold with sets, most others melted."
