1963 I have picked this coin up, looked at it, and put it down, at least 100 times. I will reveal the denomination after some input. Just wonder what others see.
In hand, at first glance, it looked like a D/D/S. I worked hard to get a better picture, and actually did, but when cropping it, I accidentally deleted it and didn't have enough battery to get another.
Here's a question and the first person to get it right, gets 100 points towards 200 points. How many coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1963?
You'll have to figure out what to do with those points. Yes, the San Francisco Mint closed in 1955 and didn't reopen until 1965. Why that S looked so strange on this coin.
I'll have to give them to the Cleveland Indians pitchers as they are pretty much throwing meatballs down the center of the plate lately, Except for Kluber!!
It sure don't look like DD, or MD, I'll stick with DDD! It shows the classic signs of DDD as the doubling is being pushed towards the rim where the metal flows upon the dies striking each other.
Looks like a typical ejection doubled Mint mark as commonly see on 1932-D quarters with this amount of "spread." IMO 100% nothing more.
